About a year and a half ago, I randomly started losing hair and experiencing a ton of hair breakage that caused me to loose about 5 inches in length. I read that sleeping on a silk pillow case and using silk hairs both help prevent hair breakage, so I swapped out my regular pillow case for a silk case and I honestly don't know if I will ever be able to go back. Aside from the fact that I have seen a significant decrease in hair breakage, it is just so luxurious and soft! A lot of dermatologists and hair stylists recommend a silk pillow case because it provides a smooth surface for your face and hair to glide over, with 45% less friction for less wrinkles.
